Might as well use the anniversary to point out one of the biggest, most embarrassing, most surprising and most frustrating flaws.
One such sore point in the OS X Finder is the lack of flexible file sharing options. No simple “share this folder on the network” thing like Mac OS Classic and Windows 95 through XP had / have them. SharePoints helps, but is needlessly complicated and should not be necessary at all.

Isn’t it a security decision? You share stuff in your Drop folder, no? Or something.

Sure, you can do that, and that’s a decent and clean mechanism by itself.
But there’s many times where I want to just select a folder and have that shared, and I can’t do that.
It’s not a security decision in that sense, as that folder could simply get new permissions as well.
